Threadbare is going to be closing down for a little while. My muse has left me, and I've neglected this beloved site. Sorry everyone. I will get this place up and running again, but right now I'm going to be focusing on next project, so look out!
Many years ago, the animal shelters of the US East Coast were overpopulated. Nobody would listen to their pleas for help. Animals were being put down every day because there wasn’t any room for them in the shelter. Eventually the shelters secretly banded together to find a way to solve these problems. A bunch of different ideas were presented, but only one could cheaply and effectively get rid of their problem; to dump the animals on an unknown island.
Dogs and cats were loaded up into crates and shipped off to an island where they wouldn't be discovered. No one worried about their health, but only thought of how much money they were going to save on expenses without the large crowd. They put the canines and felines on a large island, dropping them on separate ends so they wouldn't fight. They never thought about what would happen when the two groups met. This island isn’t going to be able to contain them all…peacefully.
What’s going to happen on that fateful day when they mingle? That’s up to you.

Feralas
Okean Beach The beach on the western side of the island, consisting of a mix of rocks and sandy patches. Small pools are created where fish and crabs are found - sometimes unlucky larger fish will get caught in the pools after high tide. This is the beach where shelters dumped the dogs. Crates and boxes can be found on the border to the forest, and sometimes inside you can find a sleeping pup or two. Moderators: nevershoutheather!, Indigo
Hyjuka Basin Hyjuka Basin is very large. It appears to be created by impact, but no body really knows. The area is thick with tall trees and undergrowth. The plants are unusually large, like prehistoric. Located in the middle of the crater impact, there is a small volcano. To the west of the volcano are the hot springs and to the east is a large waterfall from the area above - a river must have ran through the area before the crater. Moderators: nevershoutheather!, Indigo
Rabicano Plains Located on the other side of the Basin, Rabicano Plains stretch as far as the eye can see with nothing but a single tree and tall praire grasses. The land is home to many small critters and predators. The single tree is a perfect spot to make a home. Undearneath the tree is hollowed out and like a small underground cave. Large enough for even the larger dog breeds! Moderators: nevershoutheather!, Indigo

Terroke Forest Arnae River starts in Terroke Forest from an underground spring. It bubbles out of the group creating a small creek. The creek enlarges and forms a fork leading to the ocean to empty out and the other leads through the rest of the Feralas territory. The forest is rich in prey and consists mostly of oaks and pines. Olhir Caves The river that runs through most of the island originates in a cave right in the middle of Decolace. This mid-sized river is fed by groundwater, and is alive with small fish and insects. It becomes a waterfall going over the cliff that separates Decolace and Feralas. The caves are located near the cliff that borders the canine territory; you can sometimes hear their barking. The area surrounding the caves are rocky. Moderators: nevershoutheather!, Indigo

Latreille Beach This is the beach of the eastern side of the island. Sandy for the most part, the beach turns rocky in places, creating pools where small fish and crabs can be found. During high tide the ocean almost reaches the edge of the forest - during low tide there is a wide strip of sand/rocks. The cats were dumped right here on this beach. Crates and boxes used to transport the poor things litter the beach; leaving them to be used as shelters by the cats and some prey. Moderators: nevershoutheather!, Indigo

Elwynn Forest Elwynn Forest is mainly made up of oaks, pines, maples, spruces, and birches. The forest's carpet is covered in ferns. It's rich in prey, but watch out their are also quite a few predators! Throughout the forest, you can here the rushing water of the near by river. The silence in the forest is eerie and it seems to always have a chilly breeze running through. Crows are always calling to each other in this area. Sometimes it makes me wonder what called this home years ago.... Moderators: nevershoutheather!, Indigo

Kylimae Hills The lush green rolling hills are home many smaller critters. The grass and plants are always a lush green and the flowers are always bright in color. Abandoned rabbit holes are scattered over the area. Each hole is connected underground, leaving a complicated subterranean tunnel system - like a mini town underneath! This place would make a perfect home for a group of cats. Moderators: nevershoutheather!, Indigo
